This will tell you how behind I am on blogging… Little Bright N’ Shiny is now 7 months old, but lets pretend like it was just yesterday I took these pictures…

And now she is walking, and babbling, and full of life, and we love her dearly…
even though she didn’t know she was supposed to be happy for her 1 year photo shoot.
It’s a good thing she happens to be a cute ornery baby. Not a lot of people can pull off a cute cry.

And a little behind the scenes shot.
It’s pretty red neck. We just moved the kitchen table, swept up a few crumbs (perhaps more than a few), and laid out some flooring.We used direct natural lighting coming from our french doors. Camera info: shot with Canon 50D & 24-70mm lens. ISO 200, SS 1/125, AV 2.8

A special thanks to my friend who made the adorable banner and cake… and who also ended up getting more frosting on herself than Eden did. It’s all about sacrificing to get the perfect picture

These two happen to belong to one of my best friends growing up. We grew up next door neighbors and, in fact, our parents are still neighbors. Not only are we friends, but she also married one my husbands best friends (and I take full credit for that one)  :).
