My long time best friend and fellow photog, Merilee, came along with me to assist and second shoot.  She snapped a few of me in action… kind of fun for a change.  Thanks Mer, I give you two enthusiastic thumbs up!

I have to apologize for my sad homeless looking outfit. I usually don’t dress up when I shoot because often times I find myself down on the ground laying in some undefined yoga position. 9 times out of 10 I end up with mud on my shoes, grass stains on my pants, and leafs in my hair. True story.

I had the opportunity to do a photo session with Marta from M. Writes and her sweet little family. And I Have to say that I loved every second of it… even if little Benji wasn’t a fan of my camera. Let’s just say,

Bed time + Camera in your face = Not a happy baby.

Needless to say, we managed to get a few smiles out of that adorable little man. Oh, and Marta & Dan? They were complete naturals in front of the camera. Seriously. They have such a sincere connection and it shows.

If I had to sum this family up in two words it would have to be:
